        Flannel is a non-woven cloth that is produced by weaving, condensing and pressing woolen fibers. Some kind of flannel is very soft,  but there is also a kind of flannel that is strong enough to be used as a construction material. There are varies of flannel color and it can be modified into various shapes or sizes.

       There are many functions of flannel starting from the automotive industry, musical instruments, handicrafts till home construction. In the automotive industry, for example, flannel is used on the bottom of the car to protect the car body. In the musical instruments, flannel is used in the piano, for example, piano hammers are made of wood wrapped in flannel. Flannel can also be used to make various handicraft and art creations. For example, for making a picture book of flannel (for children), dolls, create motifs on clothes, handbags, wallets, hats and so on.
